LEVEL: This workshop is for beginners or intermediate painters, aiming to enhance their skills in accurately depicting skin tones. It offers an in-depth understanding of color theory and practical techniques for achieving realistic skin tones. Through interactive sessions and exercises, attendees will explore the nuances of skin tones, from sun-kissed warmth to cool undertones. This workshop provides tools and insights to improve the portrayal of human subjects. Join us in mastering skin tones, where theory meets practice for artistic growth.
In addition, we will explore topics that will enhance your figures. We will study the OSL effect, which includes both rim light and direct light sources, and the application of bouncing lights to improve your skin tones and clothes.
At the end of the workshop, Matteo will provide an introductory demonstration of oil painting techniques.
